Read these people. Those of you that have been telling yourselves it isn't Capuano or maybe it is but with these players we can have a good season even with him as coach absorb this. It's all true and he's been doing this exact thing since he's become the coach of this team. It's not the players. The talent has been there for a while it's the coach. Snow no matter how good an offseason he had completely dropped the ball on one thing(which always seems to be the case, it's never a complete job now is it?). The one thing that could dismantle this season remains. An inept coach. What does that make Snow if he kept on an obviously inept coach?

She probably is thinking that. Please dont use her as a reference for islander fans. Theres not one of us who agrees with anything she writes. Islanders are losing due to our incompetent coach making the most ridiculously dumb decisions whether in game or not.

First thing first Toronto fans have enough to worry about then coming on an isles site and say anything. Cappy must go soon or we will struggle to make an 8th seed in the playoffs,need to hire someone who is not coaching with the isles organization.

Time to yank that short leash Cappy is on!

The question is whether Cappy can handle the added pressure of having a better team. Unfortunately we've been through enough November swoons to be down on him but if he still has a handle on what is wrong and if these players are moving in the right direction I say he stays....But the team is giving up way too many goals to compete at the NHL level and teams are picking apart the offense strategy and unless that improves.......

Not being sarcastic here but is this a joke? We've had the same exact issues since the first day he started behind the bench. Different players but the same defensive issues in the neutral zone. The same head scratching personnel decisions. Same puck possession keep away game in our zone which NEVER works. Nothing has changed since his first day. What would make you think there's even a remote chance he has a handle on what's wrong?
